Kohl's Black Friday 2026: A Week of Early Offers

I always think of Kohl's as a Midwestern department-store story: Maxwell Kohl opened a grocery store in Milwaukee in 1927, then the first Kohl's department store opened in Brookfield, Wisconsin, in 1962. Today, the company describes itself as an omnichannel retailer built around product, value, and customer experience, with more than 1,100 stores in 49 states. Kohl's reports more than nine hundred million in community giving, focused on family health and wellness.

Last year, Kohl's online Black Friday sale ran Nov. 23 through Nov. 29; stores opened at 5 a.m. on Nov. 28 after closing on Thanksgiving. Early deals were available online and in stores, selected coats and jackets reached 60 percent off, and selected Nike, adidas, and Under Armour apparel was up to 50 percent off.

Kohl's Black Friday 2026 is on November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30; as of November 1, the retailer has not announced this year's schedule or terms. Its site lists 15 percent off for email signups, though I would not assume it will combine with a future event deal.

I would begin with the two Levi's cuts if denim is on the list. The Women's 501 Original-Fit Straight-Leg Jeans have a 30-inch inseam, 100 percent cotton, and a button fly; the Women's 501 Curve High-Rise Straight-Leg Jeans add room through the seat and thigh with one percent stretch. Calvin Klein's Women's Button-Front Ribbed Cardigan Sweater is a viscose-polyester blend, while the Women's Lux Cable Knit Wool-Blend Turtleneck Sweater combines wool, modal, nylon, and cashmere. When a familiar fit or size matters, I would buy that exact piece early and let uncertain markdowns go.

I would compare function before price on these four outer layers. The Tommy Hilfiger Women's Chevron-Quilted Puffer Coat has a fleece-lined collar, attached hood, zip pockets, and storm cuffs; its Women's Faux-Fur-Lined Hooded Toggle Coat combines a faux-fur-lined hood with front zip and toggle closures. DKNY's Women's Bibbed Packable Puffer Coat is water resistant and lined, while the Women's Quilted Barn Coat has a corduroy collar, detachable hood, and 30-inch length. If I do not need a coat yet, I would note the size and revisit later; no 2026 item-level offer is confirmed.

Footwear is where weather and wear time matter more than a general sale headline. I would weigh snow, rain, and walking distance against each boot's support before buying, then check the return terms.
