Thom Filicia Home Collection: Bedding, Rugs and Furniture for Fall

Thom Filicia is a New York interior and product designer, a best-selling author, and the founder of a firm whose work spans residential, hospitality and commercial interiors around the world. Before launching his own enterprise, he worked at Parish-Hadley, Robert Metzger and Bilhuber & Associates, and he gained fame on the Emmy-winning Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

His Home Collection spans furniture, artwork, bedding, textiles, wallcovering, lighting, rugs and accessories. Sedgwick & Brattle, his first trade showroom, opened in 2013 and carries pieces from the collection alongside vintage and antique finds. For colder months, I start with the Eastern Accents bedding and build outward.

For fall and winter, Thom Filicia's Eastern Accents line gives the bed a generous mix of texture. Copley is Italian linen, Ridge pairs a striped duvet with quilted accents, and Hastings layers plaid with mohair, so a room can hold pattern without every surface calling for attention.
