Tory Burch Sizing: Does Tory Burch Run Small, Big or True to Size?

Tory Burch Sizing: Does Tory Burch Run Small, Big or True to Size?

Tory Burch shoes are not uniformly true to size: some styles run true, while others run small or large. This guide compares the shoe chart with product-specific fit notes across flats, sandals, slides, and sneakers.

Start with the exact style

Start with style-specific notes: Tory Burch shoes are not reliably all true to size, all small, or all large. Nordstrom calls the Reva Ballerina Flat, Cap Toe Ballet Flat, Mellow Mule, T Lock Sport Slide Sandal, Field Sneaker, and Tory Sneaker true to size. Saks flags its Classic 50MM Leather Loafers and Miller Leather Thong Sandals as running large. Tory Burch's own Miller Sandal page says that original-fit version runs slightly small and recommends a half size up if you are between sizes. Those opposite notes are why I would not transfer advice from one shoe to another just because the names sound alike. For a Tory Burch size chart, use a conversion table as a starting point: one chart lists US 5 through 11, including half sizes, with EU equivalents. Tory Burch also offers select women's shoes in extended or narrow widths, but that does not mean every style comes in extra widths. I would start from the size you wear most often, then let the exact product page overrule it. The size picker can be narrower than the chart range.

Flats and loafers need separate calls

Reva Ballerina Flat is the clearest starting point: Nordstrom says the updated shape fits true to size, with a slightly more generous fit than the earlier version, and that the leather will stretch with wear. Cap Toe Ballet Flat is also marked true to size. Across the Saks loafers, Classic 50MM Leather Loafers are flagged as running large, while the 30MM Tassel Leather Loafers page does not offer the same fit recommendation. I would not size down in every loafer just because one is roomy. Start with the size you normally wear, check whether that exact product page says true, large, or small, and only adjust for that shoe. If your toes feel cramped in closed shoes, prioritize toe-box room over trying to make a length problem disappear by changing sizes. Here, the shared designer name tells you less than the shape and the product-specific note.

Sandals do not share one fit

Sandals can pull in opposite directions, too. Nordstrom marks the Mellow Mule and T Lock Sport Slide Sandal true to size. The Saks Miller Leather Thong Sandals page says that style runs large; do not confuse it with Tory Burch's own Miller Sandal, whose original fit runs slightly small. Double-T Monogram Padded Leather Slide Sandals are another separate shape, and the Saks page showed US 5 and 5.5 available when I checked, with low-stock labels. Tory Burch does offer select wider and narrow-width shoes, including a wide Double T Sport Slide, but the Double-T Monogram padded style is not that same model. My practical rule is to check the exact product and width label before you buy, particularly with thong sandals and slides where a small change in footbed fit can feel obvious.

For sneakers, use the retailer note

Nordstrom lists the Field Sneaker and Tory Sneaker as true to size. Saks has the Phoenix Suede Sneakers and Ladybug Leather Low-Top Sneakers, but those pages do not give me a fit recommendation, so I would not use a Reva note or a Miller note to size them. The product names distinguish their uppers: Phoenix is suede and Ladybug is leather. If you are ordering a low-top with no fit note, compare its length and width with a sneaker that already works for you, and check return terms before checkout. My take: start true to size in the Nordstrom styles that explicitly say so, follow a large or small recommendation only on the named style, and use the exact size picker for the rest. If you need a wide or narrow fit, check Tory Burch's special-width selection rather than assuming a standard shoe will adapt.
